چکیده
The objective of this work was to develop models using the Finite Element Method (FEM) assess maximum normal pressures in static condition silos different wall friction coefficient and specific weight stored product compared obtained by Eurocode 1, part 4. geometries were developed based on dimensions experimental station at Universidad de Leon (Spain). material properties Jenike shear cell tests used generate MEF. 3D generated varying (0.2, 0.4, 0.6) (6; 7.5 9 kN / m3). It verified that FEM follow theory silos: increase due decrease coefficient. Moreover, pressure occurs hopper silo transition. (FEM models) with 4 allowed validate developed, presenting trends similar values those found demonstrated influence significantly interferes slender silos.

The Relationship between Constant Friction Factor and Coefficient of Friction in Metal Forming using Finite Element Analysis
Frictional shear stress is usually determined by utilizing the coefficient of friction or the constant friction factor models. The present study deals with finite element analysis of double cup extrusion process to determine the relationship between constant friction factor (m) and coefficient of friction (µ), since the metal flow in this process is very sensitive to frictional conditions. Ther...

15 صفحه اولInfluence of Friction Models on Finite Element Simulations of Machining
In the analysis of orthogonal cutting process using FE simulations, predictions are greatly influenced by two major factors; a) flow stress characteristics of work material at cutting regimes and b) friction characteristics mainly at the chip-tool interface. The influence of work material flow stress upon FE simulations may be less or even none when there is a constitutive model for work materi...
